Day 15 ~ What If I Could Have the Desires of My Heart?

"What If I Could Have the Desires of My Heart?"

What if I was able to appear anywhere in the world?
I might see a baby is born.

What if I had limitless money?
I could bring hope to our neighbors.

What if I was an angel of light?
I would secretly whisper to all that God loves them.

I wonder if I will get to sit next to Mother Teresa
At the feet of the Great Masters when they teach in Heaven?

* Today's poetry challenge is to write a WHAT IF poem. The format is free verse, meaning write whatever you want and create possibilities using the following format:

LINE 1: What if _____________?
LINE 2: I might _____________.

LINE 3: What if _____________?
LINE 4: I could _____________.

LINE 5: What if _____________?
LINE 6: I would _____________.

LINE 7: [ask a question]

This poem is new to me, as most of them have been this month. It was very enjoyable to dream about and to write. Enjoy creating.

  1. That was beautiful, Lauri!!
Nicely done. I loved it. Perfect picture. I love Mother Theresa.
My mother-in-law and Jim's sister were able to meet her in person on a trip to India years ago and they even presented her with the Current RS manual ~ I tried to attach the picture here (I think it might link back to yahoo groups - can't remember how attachments work).

    Anyway, wonderful poem. Thanks!!

    Blessings,
